First windscreen attempt ended in disaster. An adele clamp came into contact with the plexiglass and it cracked.

Rolled on latex. It left a texture I don't care for. I believe it would look alright with a bit of polishing.

Heat shield on the bottom

We added an eighth inch ceramic mat under a very thin stainless steel sheet.  Hopefully this will prevent exhaust heat from leeching up through the bulkheads which are riveted to the bottom skin.
