Heat shield on the bottom

We added an eighth inch ceramic mat under a very thin stainless steel sheet.  Hopefully this will prevent exhaust heat from leeching up through the bulkheads which are riveted to the bottom skin.

Endless filling and sanding

Ailerons all varnished up. Ready to cover.
